I am currently an assistant professor at Renmin University of China, School of Population and Health.
Before joining RUC, I was a Lazear-Liang postdoctoral scholar at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Stanford Center on China's Economy and Institutions (SCCEI) (2024-2025), and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, China Health Partnership (2022-2023).
I primarily conduct policy-oriented empirical research, focusing on how various interventions interact with incentives and their roles in shaping a wide-range of health, population, and socio-economic outcomes. My research centers on three interconnected themes: (i) fertility, (ii) health system and hospital incentives, and (iii) population aging and elderly care.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from the National School of Development, Peking University in 2022 and received an MPA from New York University in 2017.
